Matthew Crimi, Driver & Team Owner 

Matt started dirt biking at the age of six and has been hooked to motorsports ever since. Growing up, going racing was out of reach but the passion was always strong.  He was a fan of any sport where an engine was involved, especially supercross, influencing Matt's decision to run the number 4 (Ricky Carmichael).  Matt started Truck pulling in his early twenties and found success as well as the enjoyment in being part of a great community of competitors. In 2020 Matt started karting and was immediately hooked on the challenge of road racing. He started SIM racing and in 2024 got a chance to move to real cars, racing in the inaugural season of the Mazda Miata Cup Canada, a highly competitive spec racing serious.  The long term personal goal for Matt is to find success at the top level of international amateur racing. 

Without passionate volunteers, mechanics & entrepreneurs running race teams, there would be no racing to enjoy.  The mission of MCRIMI Motorsports is to play a part in supporting the local amateur motorsports community.
